Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the CNO, the Nursing Supervisor assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the facility on designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the administrative and management teams, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided within the facility.

  • Education and Skills
    Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
  • Experience
    Minimum of three (3) years’ of critical care experience required. Experience as Nursing Supervisor or its equivalent is preferred. Leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications
    Registered Nurse License eligible to practice in the State of Texas required; current BLS required, ACLS required from an HCA approved vendor. Advanced certification of personal choice desired within three (3) years of employment.
