This is a 13‑week contract position.

Shifts availability includes 12‑hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Monday, Thursday, and Friday or 10‑hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room with a strong background in neurosurgery. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing complex surgical cases, particularly in spine and brain surgery, and will be responsible for providing high‑quality patient care in a busy surgical environment.

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Operating Room environment.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare staff.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond appropriately to changes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• At least 2 years of Operating Room experience in an acute care setting
• Experience in neurosurgery, including procedures such as craniotomies
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
