Join Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth as a Registered Nurse for the Mother/Baby unit in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment. The unit serves postoperative mothers and normal newborns with a typical patient ratio of 1:3 couplets and 50 beds.

Schedule

Full‑time nights (7 pm‑7 am).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans and adjust them to reach desired outcomes.
  • Build therapeutic relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in care delivery.
  • Educate patients, families and peers on health and safety practices, documenting learning needs.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up promptly with staff and family.
  • Apply problem‑solving strategies, recognize limitations, prioritize safety and efficiency.
  • Contribute to teamwork, peer development and service to the community.
Key Success Factors
  • Deep understanding of nursing standards and hospital procedures.
  • Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and ethical practice.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and medication management.
  • Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including EMR and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum one year of recent Mother/Baby/Postpartum RN experience.
  • BLS certification (current or obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Active Registered Nurse license.
