Work hours:
Full-Time Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) for 36 hours/week. Weekend and holiday requirements
Qualifications Here's What You Need
· Other Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program Required
· 6 Months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program Required
· LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Required And
· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 Days Required And
· NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification maintained every 2 years 90 Days Required
· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
· Collaborates with healthcare team to support hourly rounding, patient education, and risk reduction.
· Administers medications safely and performs technical procedures proficiently.
· Collects and reports patient data to RN, contributing to individualized care planning.
· Demonstrates critical thinking and adheres to national safety standards.
· Maintains professional accountability through goal setting, advocacy, and policy compliance.
· Partners with peers and support staff to enhance clinical competence and adapt to changing needs.
· Engages in continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and applying evidence-based practices.
