The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) practices in collaboration with a licensed physician pursuant to a collaborative practice agreement. The advanced practice provider will be responsible for clinical management for an assigned patient population. The CNM will enhance the quality of care through education and advanced nursing knowledge, collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, and act as liaison between the nursing care and medical teams.

There is collaboration with our affiliated, in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a 63‑bed, level‑III NICU. Additionally, our Pediatrix Medical Group maternal‑fetal medicine specialists are available for high‑risk pregnancies.

• Clinical management of assigned patients
• Order/perform therapeutic/diagnostic studies/procedures as assigned
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care

• Must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Education and experience in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements
• Current licensure as RN and APRN (CNM) in the state of practice
• National certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife, APRN
• Current NRP, CPR, PALS, BLS, and/or ALS certification as required by specialty, practice, and/or healthcare facility
