The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospice provider in the DFW Metroplex, to find a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is dedicated to delivering exceptional end‑of‑life care. Reporting to the MD of Hospice, the LVN provides skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate hospice services in patients' homes and care facilities. You'll support care plan implementation, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and help ensure every patient receives high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver skilled nursing care following directions of an RN & the patient's plan of care
  • Assist the RN with care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and self‑care
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Assist with end‑of‑life care and patient advocacy
  • Promote quality care and agency values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program
  • Active Texas LVN license and current CPR certification
  • 2+ years of clinical LVN experience required;
    Hospice or home health experience preferred
  • Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and safely transfer patients as needed
  • Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned service area
  • Compassion, professionalism, adaptability & ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking & problem‑solving skills
  • Flexible schedule with PRN emergency call participation
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, emotionally demanding environments
  • Must pass a background check and provide TB and Hepatitis documentation
