RN Acute Hemodialysis

Corner Stone Medical is seeking Registered Nurses to provide effective therapy to Chronic Hemodialysis patients in the clinic and hospital settings in Fort Worth TX.

Pay: $45 - 48/hr doe. Working 2 patients at a time, 7 to 8 patients a day over 3 shifts daily starting at 6am or 7am.

• Perform all essential functions under the direction of a direct supervisor with guidance from a preceptor or the Acute Care Coordinator for the first 6 months.
• Collect and analyze patient data pre‑during‑post treatment for assigned patients, document in the medical record, adjust or modify the treatment plan as indicated, and notify the Nephrologist, patient’s primary nurse, and others as needed.
• Recognize variations in patient status, report or collaborate with appropriate health team members, including the Nephrologist and the patient’s primary nurse.
• Assess daily patient care needs and collaborate with direct and ancillary care staff.
• Direct and provide safe, effective patient care for assigned patients as prescribed for all modality‑specific treatment procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure in good standing.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states where employed.

• Minimum of six (6) months hemodialysis experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year medical/surgical or ICU nursing experience (preferred).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• OSHA, infection control, and continuing education requirements.
• Successful completion of ongoing training and education as assigned or required.
• Must provide immunization records and pass a background check and drug test.
