Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Neuro Hospitalist (Inpatient 7on/7off)

Schedule:
7 Days On / 7 Days Off Salary: $120,000 to $155,000 annually + full benefits
We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join a collaborative inpatient neurology and stroke service in the Fort Worth, Texas area.
This role provides exposure to a broad range of neurological conditions, including acute stroke, seizures, neurotrauma, and neuromuscular disorders, within a well-established multidisciplinary hospitalist model.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage inpatient neurological and stroke patients across ICU and telemetry settings.
- Conduct neurological exams, interpret imaging and diagnostics, and adjust treatment plans.
- Participate in code stroke responses and coordinate advanced therapies.
- Partner with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and critical care teams to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about recovery and discharge planning.
- Engage in quality improvement and continuing education efforts.
- Current TX RN license and ACNP certification required
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- At least 2 years of inpatient NP experience
- Excellent teamwork and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Neurology, Neuro-ICU, or Hospitalist background
- Stroke certification or procedural competency (EEG, LP, etc.)
- $120,000to $155,000 annual salary (DOE)
