Travel Registered Nurse - CVICU

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients with a focus on cardiovascular health in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Manage critical care equipment including monitors, ventilation systems, and hemodynamic devices.
• Perform and supervise procedures such as hemodynamic monitoring, central line placement, and chest tube management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU settings, preferably CVICU or similar.
• Experience with ventilators, art lines, central lines, and chest tube management.
• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• Preferred: BSN, CCRN, and Meditech experience.
