Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Tele Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort Worth TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time (6:30 PM
-7 AM) for 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements Department Highlights

  • Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
  • 28 bed Med surg Tele unit improves the quality of care for the tele patient. Patients are admitted to this floor for multiple acute chronic diseases such as pneumonia, sepsis, pancreatitis, weakness, failure to thrive, GI bleeds, Diverticulitis, trachs, DKA, BKA, infections, diabetic, renal, urology with traveling tele beds.
Here’s What You Need
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma required
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS (AHA) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire required
  • CPI training within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Prefer strong med/surg experience including charge/preceptor skills
What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
