· The Women's Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET facility, has been named "Best Place to Have a Baby" and is a Maternal Level IV Designated facility.
·

Work hours:

Full-Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week with some weekend and holiday coverage. (2) clinical shifts and (1) shift of flexible administrative time; monthly day meetings required Maternal/Newborn, Couplet Care Department highlights:
· Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
· Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
· 27-bed Maternal/Newborn unit
· Average between 275 to 300 deliveries per month
· Utilize the following skills:
Breastfeeding education/resources, responsible for both mom and baby (Couplet Care)

Here's What You Need
· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Nursing Diploma Required
· Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
· Two (2) Years' experience as a registered nurse (RN) with previous experience as a Charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Required
· More than 2 years of Maternal/Newborn, couplet care RN experience strongly preferred
· RN – Registered Nurse Licensure (to practice in the state of Texas) Upon Hire Required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually 90 days required.
· Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
