Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit, which features 10 Labor Delivery Rooms and 2 OBED with a total of 24 Bedside RNs. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, often in high-risk situations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Utilize EMR systems (CPN, Meditech) for patient documentation and care.
- Perform typical procedures such as Cesarean sections and BTLs/Salpingectomies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN License in the state of Texas.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.
- ACLS and NRP Certification.
- BLS Certification.
- O.R. Circulator skills are preferred.
