Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting, delivering high-quality patient support and ensuring safety during shift hours. Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain clinical excellence and patient comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech system.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and bedside clinical skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating policies.
• BSN degree preferred.
