Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience with prior neuro experience.

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Prior Neuro ICU experience required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Neuro Sciences ICU, a 12-bed unit within a hospital setting
• Staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 6 RNs per shift on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1
• Utilizes specialized equipment including EVD, lumbar drains, Ceribell, EV100, and Pris Max/Prisma Flex
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Scheduled shift is 7A-7P
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required per hospital policy
• Perform bedside procedures including EVD placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, bronchoscopy, central line placement, EGD, and TEE
• Work alongside a collaborative team requiring personable, self-driven, and team-oriented candidates
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
