A nonprofit partnership in Tarrant County is hiring the NP or PA who will launch and build a contraceptive and family planning clinic from the ground up. Grant funding covers all medication — care is free to every patient, no insurance required. Daytime only, no evenings, roughly two Saturdays per month, part-time with a clear full-time path. Full back-office support handles operations so your day stays clinical.
Hands-on LARC experience is essential. Trauma-informed, non-judgmental approach required. Spanish strongly preferred.
- Provide long-acting reversible contraception including IUDs and subdermal implant, plus injectable and shorter-acting methods with full counseling
- Deliver general prenatal care to Medicaid and uninsured patients
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and counsel patients on reproductive and general women's health
- Manage side effects and adverse reactions tied to injectable and implanted contraception
- Work independently on site with presiding physician providing remote prescribing oversight
- Help shape clinical workflows and protocols as the program launches and grows
- Document care accurately and on time
- Active Texas APRN or PA license, or clear eligibility to obtain
- WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C certification
- Hands-on experience placing and managing at least one LARC method (IUD or subdermal implant) — essential, not optional
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (not a fit for new graduates)
- Comfortable practicing independently on site with remote physician oversight
- Fully comfortable prescribing and counseling on all contraceptive methods without restriction
- Trauma-informed, non-judgmental approach and genuine commitment to reproductive health access
- WHNP certification or FNP with extensive women's health experience
- Community health, family planning, FQHC, or safety-net setting experience
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Experience with LGBTQ+ patients
- Grant-funded or sliding-scale service delivery experience
- $60–$75/hour | W-2
- Part-time | Daytime hours only | No evenings
- Approximately two Saturdays per month
