• Under the supervision of an RN, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides direct patient care.
• The LVN/LPN observes and documents the patient's medical progress and nursing status changes under the direction of a registered nurse.
• This position provides direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Currently Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of agency operation.
• One year of LVN/LPN work experience.
• Ability to provide nursing visits according to the treatment as prescribed by the physician and provide and maintain paperwork to maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
• Performs technical nursing functions and direct patient care consistent with the established plan of care and under the supervision of an RN.
