Role:

Advanced Practice Provider in Neurocritical Care responsible for delivering healthcare, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals for patients in specialized areas.

Advanced Practice Provider in Neurocritical Care responsible for delivering healthcare, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals for patients in specialized areas.

• Perform clinical duties such as patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and ordering tests.
• Manage patient care plans, consult with physicians, and facilitate patient and family involvement.
• Educate patients to promote self-management and ensure follow-up.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality care and positive health outcomes.
• Stay current with professional development through seminars, journals, and organizations.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, licensure, and certifications.
• Participate in departmental planning, quality improvement, and staff meetings.

• Physician Assistant with licensure from the Texas Board and NCCPA certification, or
• Master’s degree in nursing with valid RN license, APRN licensure, and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, ANP, GNP, or ACNP).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to develop work processes, support team goals, and adhere to policies and regulations.
