American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring active TX or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and basic EKG interpretation skills.

• Med/Surg unit on the 3rd floor West with 12 beds
• Staffing includes 2 RNs, 1 PCT, and 1 float CNC per shift
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required to other med/surg departments (24-bed and 12-bed units)

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic EKG interpretation skills required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Compassionate, motivated, and collaborative personality fit preferred
• Must arrive on time for shift huddle at 6:45 PM
• Call-ins required at least 2 hours prior to shift start
• Scheduling managed through the Timpani platform
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
