Work hours:

Part-Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 24 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements plus some call-requirements Labor & Delivery Department highlights:
· Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
· Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
· 18-bed LDR's, 5-bay OB/ED, 3 OR suites
· Average 275 + deliveries per month
· Wide range of patients and plan of care – nitrous oxide, Midwifery and a referral center for high-risk patients.
· High-paced environment.
· Maternal-fetal medicine providers for both consultations and deliveries

Here's What You Need
· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required
· BSN is preferred
· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
· One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program required.
· 18 months or more of Labor & Delivery RN experience from a Level 3 or above maternal designated facility strongly preferred
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire
· NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
· NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
· Assesses the patient
· Plans the care of the patient
· Intervenes as appropriate
· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
