Work hours:Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, Day shift
Department highlights:
- 25 bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Nurse:
Patient ratio 1:2 - 833-bed Level I Trauma Center
- MAGNET facility
- Comprehensive Cardiac Center
- Our primary focus is on the care of the cardiovascular surgical patient which covers a vast variety of procedures, from peripheral vascular surgeries to complex open heart surgeries.
- The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills
- Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
- Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
- High acuity, high volume department
