You must have an active Texas RN license, an associate degree or diploma in nursing, and at least one year of RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.

Maternal/Newborn, Mother/Baby, or Couplet Care RN experience is strongly preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required before independent patient care, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 90 days.
