36 bed unit with a patient population that includes pulmonary and infectious disease. Age ranges from newborn to young adult. 1:3 - 1:4 Ratio
Education/Experience- 1 year of direct nursing experience required.
- 2+ years inpatient experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Active, unrestricted TX Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- PALS or NRP and specialty certifications per unit guidelines.
