Role Overview:
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports clinical quality, safety, and service excellence by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:Acts as a staff nurse or relief charge nurse, assists the Nurse Manager with staffing, training, evaluation, and unit operations. Ensures regulatory compliance, promotes patient experience initiatives, and facilitates unit-based education on quality care. Coaches and mentors staff, provides real-time feedback, and participates in special projects.
Qualifications & Skills:Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Texas nursing license, CPR certification, and three years of nursing experience. Preferred certifications include specialty area credentials. Skills include coaching, computer literacy, effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and understanding legal regulations. Demonstrates a passion for quality, safety, and patient service, with a positive attitude and organizational skills.
