Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our team as Traveling Emergency Veterinarians. The role combines the flexibility and travel options of an independent relief veterinarian with the stability and safety of a full‑time position, providing full‑time benefits and the independence of travel.

• 3 or more years of ER experience or ER internship trained + 1 to 2 years of ER experience.
• Specialty/Emergency hospital experience required.
• Surgical experience and skills required.

• Full‑time:
  Minimum 9 shifts per 4 weeks to qualify for full‑time benefits, PTO, and discretionary funds.
• Part‑time:
  Minimum 3 shifts per 4 weeks; part‑time benefits available with travel coverage; additional benefits determined case‑by‑case.

Shifts are managed through the online platform Jobs Unleashed. Traveling ER Veterinarians have the first pick of shifts and control of scheduling within the guidelines set by the team manager regarding focus hospitals, regions, or shift types. Optional shifts beyond the minimum are compensated per the model below.
