Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Associates Degree Related field (preferred)
Graduate of accredited ultrasound technology program (preferred)
RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Upon Hire (required) or
RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Upon Hire (required) and
1 Year Related experience in a Vascular Laboratory (required)
Possess an excellent working knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary anatomy/pathology, the cardiac patient, and treatment of cardiac diseases
Have working knowledge of vascular arterial and venous anatomy for carotid and peripheral vasculature
Have excellent communication skills
Have good computer skills
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Registered Vascular Technician Process
Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient.
Conducts vascular laboratory studies in accordance with the vascular laboratory protocols.
Produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of vascular structures, using ultrasound equipment by following ICAVL guidelines, for interpretation by physicians.
Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
Reviews test results with interpreting physician.
Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient s clinical conditions while in the clinic.
Performs other duties as assigned.
