Job Purpose
The Safety Coordinator works with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures and to assist in the achievement/execution of profitability and productivity on jobsites operating out of their office.
Essential Functions- Act as an internal consultant to all company business units with respect to safety.
- Ensure compliance of Clune employees, trade partners, visitors, and vendors with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, local, state, and national safety regulations.
- Provide safety guidance during the planning stages of projects.
- Attend and contribute to company and project safety meetings.
- Attend outside training for added designations and to stay current with industry changes.
- Serve as a role model professionally for Clune employees, trade partners, visitors, and vendors.
- Assist with incident investigations and mitigate claims by ensuring safety is a priority on projects.

- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, hear, climb stairs/ladders, and walk on uneven ground as required by duties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field; or equivalent combination of 1–3 years education and experience.
- OSHA 30‑hour certification (preferred).
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.
