Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Supplier Quality Analyst. You will be part of the LM Aero Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team within the Quality & Mission Success (QMS) organization and will be responsible for supply chain sourced product & service quality. The selected analyst will report to the SQM Operational Management team, which coordinates between SQM fielded personnel, suppliers, government providers, functional stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, operations, quality, engineering, and/or program management) and customers (Program Office, DCMA, Owning Units).

This position will utilize SQM s quality management system (QMS) to ensure quality at the source, material availability, and limited disruptions to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying, documenting, categorizing, and mitigating risks within the QMS.
  • Creating, coordinating, updating, training, and approving QMS command media and related processes, handbooks, job aids, and video guides.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting performance management metrics and indicators.
  • Administering QMS systems and tools to enable automated execution of tasks.
  • Inspecting and surveilling SQM s QMS execution to requirements.
  • Tactically resolving unplanned events across LM s value streams.
  • Investigating, containing, and performing root-cause and corrective action for process deficiencies in SQM s QMS and its application across LM s value streams.
  • Supporting QMS continuous improvement projects that reduce cost & schedule of quality tasks and/or improve quality performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to address major QMS tactical and systemic events.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of success working independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with one of:
    Air Vehicle and Mission Systems components & services; airframe built-to-print components;
    Operational / Quality experience on an LM platform (F-35, F-22, C-130, etc.); flight-line or sustainment service support; supply chain and/or program management.
Desired Skills
  • Masters Degree.
  • Quality management system understanding and quality science expertise in (one of): statistical analysis & process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Certification, and/or related Technical Background/Experience.
  • History of collaborating cross-functionally to improve customer outcomes.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
    The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules, with the latter providing additional time away from the office. These are in addition to Paid Time Off.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week.
