Position: Inspection Technician I

Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a global medical device company in Fort Worth, TX.

Pay Rate: $25/ hr (W-2)

Duration:
Initially 12 months with possible extension

40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Hours:

Second shift (3:30pm - 12pm CST)

Job Description:

The Inspection Technician Associate works in the areas of inspection or quality test of products within the surgical instrumentation and quality organization. This individual will perform quality inspections to standard AQLs. Tasks will typically be interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance in order to qualify parts into stock locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to specifications.
  • Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
  • Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
  • Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit.
  • Compare quantity and part number of items received with purchasing data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
  • Experience in manufacturing inspection, test, or quality, preferred within a medical device industry.
  • Experience performing First Article Inspections.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proper Personal Protective Equipment - Steel Toes and Safety Glasses
