Position: QCQA Manager (Fort Worth, TX) - Austin Commercial

Job Overview

We are seeking a QCQA Manager for a large healthcare project in Fort Worth, TX. In this role you will ensure that internal and external requirements as well as project quality objectives are met, contributing to the development and implementation of best‑practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the Quality Control Program and supervise Quality Control Engineers I & II.
  • Develop test/inspection plans per technical specifications and contract requirements.
  • Supervise QA/QC staff including QA/QC Engineers I & II and testing lab technicians.
  • Interface with the client/architect regarding QA/QC program approval and related matters.
  • Manage and spot‑check field installations for compliance with contract documents, resolve issues such as punch list items and non‑compliance issuances, and communicate concerns and observations to the Project Director.
  • Participate in pre‑bid and pre‑construction meetings to review and set quality expectations.
  • Lead and participate in pre‑activity and weekly Quality Control meetings.
  • Implement Quality Control software such as BIM 360 Field.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Science or related field.
  • 7‑10 years of experience in a QA/QC related role, including developing and implementing design/construction quality programs.
  • Successful completion of OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may be obtained within first year).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills (written and verbal); ability to communicate clearly with clients and employees.
  • Ability to build and assist in leading high‑performing teams at the project and department levels.
  • Basic understanding of Word, Excel, CMIC, Bluebeam and BIM 360 Field.
  • Familiarity with design and construction industry software.
