Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Position OverviewThe Quality Assurance Analyst works as part of the Quality Management team, supporting the Quality Director and Assistant Quality Director in maintaining compliance with accreditation programs and standard practices for the Center for Human Identification.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to acquire knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and documentation.
- Ability to keep records, assemble and organize data, and prepare reports in acceptable formats.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate complex language and seek guidance on interpretation questions related to local policies and laws.
Experience in a forensic DNA laboratory, technical or quality assurance roles.
Job Duties- Assist with quality assurance and quality control documentation for proficiency testing, corrective actions, and internal and external audits.
- Document, review, and monitor quality incidents and corrective actions.
- Support notifications to legal stakeholders.
- Import and organize quality assurance and quality control documentation into Qualtrax.
- Participate in Quality Working Group (QWG) meetings and projects.
- Assist with documentation for internal audits, gap assessments, and annual management review.
- Provide quality- and lab safety-related training for laboratory employees.
- Assist with monthly and annual equipment assessments and quality checks.
- Participate in annual equipment inventory audits to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an option for a modified schedule.
