Overview
Electrical QA Manager - Data Center Projects. We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Electrical QA Managers to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical systems for mission-critical projects, including data centers and hospitals. Positions are available for both local candidates in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and travelers willing to work on-site.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes for electrical installations on data center and hospital projects.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to uphold quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and clients, to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Strong background in electrical systems, with experience in QA/QC roles.
- Prior experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or similar facilities is preferred but not required.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for project assignments (for traveler positions).
- Relevant certifications in electrical systems or quality management are a plus.
- Conduct on-site inspections and audits of electrical installations.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and document non-conformities, and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to address quality concerns.
- Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $50 to $70, based on experience.
- Per diem allowance of $150 per day for traveler positions.
