The Quality Assurance Technician II

Responsible for guaranteeing product quality by conducting thorough line inspections and laboratory tests to ensure products meet specific standards.

• Perform line duties such as measuring, weighing, counting, and analyzing both work in progress (WIP) and final products to ensure specifications are met.
• Monitor critical control points, preventive measures, procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
• Test various raw materials.
• Complete daily calibrations on various instruments as required.
• Ensure completion of applicable quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Enhance the reputation of the department and organization by owning tasks and exploring opportunities that add value.
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the safety, quality, and legality of products made by the company.
• Other duties as assigned or required with training.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 1+ year of experience in a food safety-based role.
• Familiarity with running automatic and manual titration systems.
• Ability to run a pH meter accurately to ensure product conformity.
• Proven record of attendance, document control, and document completion.
• Analytical skills and basic math skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate uneven surfaces/stairs.
