Overview

Under general supervision and reporting to the Vice President of NDT and Metrology Services, the CMM Programmer is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of a CMM to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and run existing CMM programs, including alignment and daily calibration.
  • Perform basic program commands and datum structure tasks.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain inspection documents.
  • Review inspection records for compliance.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate Non‑Conformance Reports for nonconforming parts.
Qualifications
  • CMM programming in languages such as PCDMIS, CALYPSO or equivalent.
  • Experience with 3‑D scanners, FARO arms and other inspection devices.
  • Dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components.
  • Knowledge of Catia and CAD desirable.
  • Fluent in English, reading and writing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic Excel skills.
  • High School graduate or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of aerospace/CMM experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Physical/Operational Requirements
  • Vision sufficient to read printed documents and computer screens.
  • Ability to perform light lifting and sit for extended periods.
Work Hours and Travel

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – typical day; may require extended hours, weekend overtime, and travel to suppliers.
