Job Overview
The role of a CMM Technician at Junchuang North America involves operating and programming CNC Measurement Machine equipment to ensure parts meet precise tolerances. The position is located at the company's headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, and involves working both in a modern office setting and an advanced manufacturing facility specializing in plastic injection molding technology.

- Set up, operate, and program CMM equipment to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to perform precise measurements.
- Stay updated on advancements in CMM technology and measurement techniques.
- Perform detailed inspections of parts and components, ensuring they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Record and report inspection results, identifying and documenting any deviations or defects.
- Analyze measurement data to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to address issues and improve processes.
- Regularly calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational training in metrology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in operating and programming CMMs.
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with CMM software such as PC‑DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
- Certification in CMM operation/programming or a related quality control certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to use and manage data within a digital environment.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and report findings.
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.
