Position: Engineering Technician I

In this role as an Engineering Technician, you will support manufacturing engineers and plant managers with minimal guidance and direction. Expert technical understanding of the full processes to be supported. Lead person in solving problems and recommends number of possible alternatives. Implements course of action based on knowledge, experience and company goals. Leads and completes projects are of varying sizes and complexities.

Routine decisions are not subject to review. Decisions require independent judgment. Decision making is prevalent and holds implications due to significance and risk.

Location

This position must be based in Fort Worth, Texas and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

  • Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) Investigation.
  • Criticality & Risk Assessment:
    Performing formal assessments to determine the impact of equipment failure on product quality and patient safety.
  • Audit Readiness & Compliance:
    Maintaining "Inspection-Ready" documentation at all times; ensuring that all maintenance and calibration logs are compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 and copies are stored digitally.
What You Bring
  • Education:

    BA in engineering related field.
  • Work Experience:

    1‑4 years relevant experience in manufacturing.
  • Preferred experience in an ISO 13485 facility.
  • Demonstrated documentation, communication skills.
  • Prior experience working in a lab or manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems.
  • Executes engineering projects from end to end with minimal guidance and support.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $27.69 to $38.07 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
