LMX) effort is an internal transformation project that will change the way LM is doing business across all business areas. This includes system modernization, consolidation of Business Area processes & practices and cutting‑edge IT and engineering implementation.
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an Operations Testing Lead who will partner with the Saber 2.0 Solution Train and Enterprise Operations to successfully plan and execute the end‑to‑end testing efforts and post deployment hyper‑care support for Aero PLM, 1
LMX MES, and 1
LMX ERP roll‑outs across LM Aero.
Coordinate with Aero PLM Agile Release Train, LM Enterprise Operations MES & ERP release trains to develop a consolidated test master plan that aligns with PLM, MES, & ERP schedules.
Work closely with release trains and ensure the proper skilled Operations testing resources are readily available to support PLM, MES, & ERP testing and bug fix efforts.
Provide consolidated PLM, MES, & ERP test and deployment issue metrics and status to Aero leadership.
Coordinate rapid issue validation, root‑cause analysis, and bug‑fix verification during the first 60 days after go‑live. Capture post‑deployment lessons learned and feed them back to the testing process.

LocationThis position is in Fort Worth, TX.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- Proven experience in test planning, coordination, and execution for large‑scale enterprise software (MES, PLM, ERP).
- Comfortable managing multiple parallel work streams and shifting priorities in a fast paced program environment.
- Demonstrated ability working at all levels of the organization, driving positive change, and communicating across multi‑functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology, PI planning, and Release Train Engineer (RTE) interactions.
- Strong Excel/PowerBI/Tableau skills for defect analysis and metrics visualization.
- Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, manufacturing, supply‑chain, IT).
- Skilled at risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation to senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; can translate technical findings into executive briefings and hypercare action items.
- Systematic root‑cause analysis and rapid issue resolution, especially during hypercare periods.
- Ability to balance technical rigor with business‑impact considerations, ensuring smooth production roll‑outs.

Work SchedulesLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
