Quality Management Leader
We are seeking a quality-focused leader to oversee and strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple manufacturing locations throughout North America. This role will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, supporting operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing quality, experience with API and ISO standards, and a proven ability to lead teams, manage audits, and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the organization's Quality Management System across multiple facilities.
- Serve as the primary quality representative for North American operations, ensuring consistent application of quality standards and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop site-level quality leaders and teams.
- Design and implement quality training initiatives that reinforce compliance and operational excellence.
- Support certification efforts and maintain adherence to applicable API, ISO, and customer quality requirements.
- Oversee internal audit activities and coordinate supplier quality assessments and corrective action programs.
- Establish, track, and report quality performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and implement initiatives that improve processes, reduce risk, and enhance overall performance.
- Manage customer quality concerns, investigations, and resolution activities.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs to address recurring issues.
- Ensure effective document control and quality record management practices are maintained across all locations.
- Partner with operations and executive leadership teams to align quality objectives with business goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. - Progressive leadership experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading quality programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within North America.
- Preferred:
Experience supporting API and/or ISO certification programs. - Background within oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, or related production environments.
- Experience leading internal audits, supplier audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience.
