Responsible for preparing and reviewing real estate contracts, detailed Real Estate Planning Reports and Real Estate Summary and Lease Planning Reports, required in planning the acquisition of real estate.

Assist in reviewing title evidence for compliance with applicable USACE and the Department of Justice standards identifying potential issues.

Conduct preliminary reviews of agreements in cases of multiple ownerships and varied interests and provides initial findings to those who conduct negotiations with landowners in such cases.

Personally make contacts with rightful owners, lessors, and tenants to negotiate for the purchase of land in fee, easement, or lease of property.

Furnish real estate data and technical advice to all branches of Real Estate Division and to other elements of the District.

Up to 50% travel required.

Valid Driver's License

You may qualify for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with agency policy.
