Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
As a Research Associate I, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and sustaining product initiatives by generating reliable experimental data, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure efficient lab workflows. Your contributions will directly support technical decision-making, product quality, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do- Execute laboratory experiments following established protocols under the guidance of senior scientists
- Prepare pilot runs and operate standard laboratory equipment, including PCR instrumentation
- Collect, analyze, and compile experimental data while identifying and escalating anomalies
- Maintain accurate real-time documentation, laboratory notebooks, and quality records
- Support sustaining and product support activities by delivering high-quality experimental results
- Assist with troubleshooting experimental issues and collaborate with team members on solutions
- Manage routine laboratory tasks and inventory activities to improve team efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance laboratory processes and reproducibility
- Support multiple ongoing projects with limited scope and complexity
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Chemistry, or a related life science field
- 0-2 years of laboratory or research experience with hands-on exposure to basic experimental techniques
- Working knowledge of experimental design and the ability to follow established protocols with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment, especially PCR
- Experience using Excel or similar tools for basic data analysis
- Understanding of scientific calculations such as dilutions and molarity
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under supervision while collaborating within a team environment
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
