Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in casual or fine dining.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including skill development and performance training.
  • Adept in menu planning and execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A culinary degree or professional certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a dietary department or with special diets is a plus.
Job Responsibilities

As the Sous Chef at our restaurant in Fort Worth, you will:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Oversee the quality, presentation, and consistency of all dishes leaving the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to refine menus and introduce innovations.
  • Manage inventory, monitor supply levels, and ensure timely orders to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance.
  • Step in to assist with food preparation and cooking as needed.
  • Uphold the brand’s standards and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
