Our franchise organization, Corral Holdings dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team!

The Cook is responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, taste, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products. Attention to speed, cleanliness, organization, and product specifications is essential.

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking items, following Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills all items to meet Golden Corral standards for quality.
• Ensures fried products are always fresh and hot.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when the Buffet Attendant is unavailable.
• Assists guests with carved meat options if the Carver is unavailable.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.

• Maintains proper temperature of all products during cooking, holding, and serving.
• Uses the Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide and Display Cooking Hot Cook Production Guide for inventory management.
• Completes opening and closing administrative procedures.
• Maintains equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
• Rotates food using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Checks inventory and build-to with the Manager at shift start and end.
• Ensures cleanliness of the Hot Cook area and smallwares.
• Performs duty roster and maintains cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Follows all local health department regulations.
• Keeps Char Grill clean and sanitized.

• Ensures Hot Choice Buffet products are always hot and fresh for guests.
• Follows position responsibilities for just-in-time delivery.
• Provides friendly and courteous assistance to guests.
• Maintains professional communication at all times.
