Sales Clerk - Cashier

The Sales Clerk / Cashier provides prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service, follows company policies and procedures, and sells products to individuals in a high volume convenience store. This position helps to maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment inside and outside the store. This position can be part-time or full-time, with night, weekend, and holiday hours.

• Greet and interact with new and regular customers in a genuine manner and suggest products that complement purchases to enhance the guest experience.
• Ring up guests on the cash register and balance cash and inventory transactions.
• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous service and offer the best experience for guests.
• Restock coolers, display shelves, and rotate inventory.
• Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests, communicate respectfully, and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude with a team player mentality.
• Provide great service to be compliant on fuel vendor’s loyalty program.
• Clean inside and outside of the store including sweeping the parking lot, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, filling water and towels at the pump, and replacing pay-at-the-pump receipt paper.
• Adhere to all company, federal, state and local safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations.

• Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday hours and to work either part-time or full-time.
