Warehouse Donation​/Processor - Chosen Ones

Overview

DONATION PROCESSOR/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

This role involves processing donations, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting various program areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be flexible to meet daily needs.

• Determine what donated items to keep based on parameters set forth by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Process items to keep by instructions set forth by Warehouse Supervisor, including preparing items for display in the Store.
• Dispose of unusable items in the dumpster per set parameters.
• Check large donated items (e.g., car seats, highchairs) to ensure all parts are included and items meet current safety standards to the best of the employee his/her knowledge.
• Empty donation bin every shift and place items into designated areas until donation processing is completed.
• Break down boxes and remove all warehouse trash, including the Sorting Office and Breakroom.
• Areas of responsibility include:
  Clothing, Shoes, Food Pantry, Large Items (e.g., high chairs, car seats), Accessories, Special projects (Back to School, Fall Festival, Christmas Bags, etc.), Hygiene Bags, New Mom Bags, Underwear and Socks.

Hours are Monday and Wednesday 9:30-3:30 pm / Friday 10-1 pm

Thursday evenings 5-8:30 pm

These hours are firm and you must be available during these hours. More hours available if needed, up to 32 per week.
