Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate / Pawnbroker role available in our pawn store locations nationwide. The position offers hourly wages, plus commission based on productivity. Transmission of pay includes base hourly rate and potential commission, with eligibility impacting benefits where applicable.

Pay range: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates to join our team in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. Greet, engage, and assist customers in processing sales, loans, and other transactions. Engage with customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. Work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Clearly explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; foster a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training and other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, bending, etc.) in compliance with law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• May assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products stored externally.
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and perform basic math; cash handling experience preferred.
• Willing to work across multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.
