$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

- Vacation:
Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of active full‑time service. We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides, handling sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise display.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Handle all cash and negotiable items following procedures and regulations.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Successfully complete assigned training.
- Perform related duties assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and achieve firearms certification.
- Ability to assist customers outside the building and retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math calculation proficiency.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Flexible to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule (including weekends and holidays).
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their performance. Details will be provided during the interview process.
