Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.17 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Roles include greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, resolving inquiries, and working with a wide variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, jewelry, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus earned commissions based on personal productivity. Pay varies by work location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and contributes to a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.) in accordance with law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products in exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work at multiple locations as needed and have a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
