Job Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F and above in some work areas; sudden changes in temperature.
• Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.
• Walking: for short distances over short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks with linoleum.
• Walking/standing: surfaces height between 36" and 48".
• Sitting: paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries weighed up to 50 pounds, unloaded by hand truck.
• Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds), trays of dough (about 12 pounds).
• Pushing/Pulling: moving trays on dollies with force up to 7.5 pounds.
• Climbing: occasional stairs or ladder use.
• Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist at pizza assembly station; duration 30‑45 seconds repeated continuously.
• Crouching/Squatting: occasional to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: up/down/forward; may reach above 72"; reaching down to scooping cornmeal or washing dishes.
• Hand Tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; frequent use of forearms and wrists to shape dough, manipulate pizza peel, use rolling cutter; frequent pinching in assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
• Machines/Tools/Equipment: use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
