A rapidly growing boutique fitness franchise is seeking a Retail Merchandising & Procurement Manager to lead retail merchandising, merchandise sourcing, inventory planning, and vendor management across its studio network.

This role will own the retail function from strategy through execution, ensuring studios have brand-aligned, trend-forward apparel, accessories, and branded products that drive retail revenue and support franchisee success. The ideal candidate combines creative merchandising expertise with strong operational, analytical, and vendor-management skills.

• Lead seasonal merchandising initiatives, product launches, assortment planning, planograms, and retail presentation standards.
• Source apparel, accessories, and branded merchandise across the franchise system.
• Manage relationships with vendors, manufacturers, fulfillment partners, and warehouse teams.
• Negotiate pricing, order quantities, production timelines, shipping terms, and vendor agreements.
• Forecast inventory needs and establish reorder points, minimum order quantities, and inventory-turn targets.
• Analyze sales, inventory performance, product profitability, and purchasing trends.
• Manage the retail purchasing platform, product setup, inventory visibility, and franchisee ordering workflows.
• Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgets, reporting, and invoice reconciliation.
• Develop opening inventory packages and merchandising guidelines for new studios.
• Support seasonal launches, presale activities, grand openings, and in-studio retail setup.
• Train franchisees and studio teams on product knowledge, retail selling, and merchandising best practices.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Social, Operations, Finance, and Fitness teams.

• 4+ years of experience in retail merchandising, procurement, buying, inventory management, or retail operations.
• Experience with merchandise sourcing, vendor negotiations, inventory planning, and visual merchandising.
• Background in athleisure, apparel, fitness, boutique wellness, franchising, or multi-unit retail strongly preferred.
• Understanding of retail forecasting, budgeting, product profitability, and operational planning.
• Experience supporting new-location openings, initial inventory purchasing, or systemwide retail launches is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and project-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.
• Creative eye for product assortment, visual merchandising, and brand presentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Passion for health, fitness, and boutique wellness brands; familiarity with Pilates is a plus.
