General Manager - Luxury Retail Store

A rapidly expanding luxury Western lifestyle retailer is seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager to establish and lead its new Fort Worth store.

This is an opportunity to build a new location, develop its customer base and create a high-performing retail team from the ground up. The General Manager will take ownership of the store’s commercial performance, people, customer experience and daily operations while creating an environment that celebrates craftsmanship, personalized service and authentic Western style.

• Lead the successful opening and ongoing operation of the Fort Worth store.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop a high-performing sales and support team.
• Take ownership of sales, profitability, payroll, inventory and operating standards.
• Deliver an elevated and highly personalized customer experience.
• Build a clienteling culture that encourages repeat business, referrals and loyalty.
• Establish goals and monitor conversion, transaction value and individual performance.
• Maintain outstanding merchandising, presentation, organization and product-care standards.
• Develop relationships and partnerships within the Fort Worth community.
• Ensure the team understands the craftsmanship and stories behind the merchandise.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication and recognition.

• Demonstrated retail management experience, ideally within luxury, premium or specialty retail.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and lead a successful retail sales team.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, inventory, payroll and profitability.
• Experience developing customer relationships and driving repeat business.
• Entrepreneurial and action-oriented leadership style.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence establishing standards and addressing performance concerns.
• Ability to work fully on-site, including evenings, weekends, holidays and peak periods.
• Appreciation of Western fashion, craftsmanship or lifestyle products.
• Western retail experience is preferred.

• Base salary of $85,000–$110,000, depending on experience.
• Relocation assistance available.
• Approximately 80% of employee healthcare coverage paid by the employer.
