Immediate need for a talented Retail Operations - CR Smith Museum. This is a 03+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Fort Worth, TX (Onsite).

Pay Range: $18 - $20 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a Part-time role Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am - 4:30pm CST.
• Retail & Operational Support:
• Support the Museum Store by processing sales, restocking merchandise, and maintaining displays:
• Process POS transactions (cash and credit card)
• Fulfill telephone and e-commerce orders
• Receive, process, and stock merchandise
• Complete daily sales reports
• Welcome visitors, answer questions, and assist with interactive exhibits such as flight simulators.
• Communicate daily activities and events to visitors.

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to actively listen and maintain positive body language (smiling, eye contact, good posture).
• Comfortable interacting with guests in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule; must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This is a part-time role
• Candidate will be working on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am - 4:30pm CST.
• There may be opportunities to work an additional day if the candidate is available.
